Here’s a notable planter for a kitchen herb garden or a seed nursery made with Chalkboard Paint.

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • 3/4" flat brush
    • chalk
    • rectangular wooden crate
    • hand-sander or sandpaper

    1. Use 3/4” flat brush and Sea Breeze to basecoat entire crate except first board on top row. Rinse brush.
    2. Use hand-sander or sandpaper and distress all painted areas.
    3. Use same brush with Black Chalkboard Paint and paint top row board. Let dry and apply second coat.
    4. Put herb or other small plants into crate and label crate with chalk.
