Instructions:
Gather your supplies!

I started by applying one coat of Picket Fence paint on the sign. While it was drying, I die cut the letters GOGGLES out of vinyl using my Sizzix Big Shot Plus and the Laura Kelly Die Set.

Once the paint was dry, I centered a letter on each plank of the sign. I removed the backing of the vinyl and applied pressure to secure the letter.

Next, I painted each panel of the sign a different color, covering the letters.

I wanted a little bit of a washed look, so I wiped each panel with a paper towel. Making sure to follow the wood grain.

Once the paint was semi-dry, I carefully removed the vinyl letters.

Next, I painted three clothespins and once they were dry, I hot glued them to the sign. To add more of a beachy feel, I hot glued a decorative resin starfish. Lastly, I adhered a bit of cording to the back of the sign.

And that’s it! An easy Goggles Station to keep my kiddos organized all summer long!

No more, “Mom! I can’t find my goggles!” or “Who left their goggles at the bottom of the pool?”. Well, in all reality, even if this doesn’t keep their goggles organized, it sure looks cute hanging on my patio! Happy Crafting!
