SUPPLIES

  • water container
  • palette or plastic plate
  • paper towels
  • 1" painter's tape
  • wooden arrow
  • paintbrushes

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

  1. Paint the each arrow in either French Mauve, Pink Chiffon, or Watermelon Slice.
  2. Instruction #1
  3. Using painter's tape, mask off a "v" shape, mimicking that of an arrow, and paint each arrow in a different color using Cashmere Beige, Baby Pink, Razzle Berry, Watermelon Slice, and Vivid Violet. Measure the feathered end of the arrow and divide that by four, masking off the first stripe and painting each one in a different shade of the paints listed above. (See photo.)
  4. Instruction #2
  5. Paint various colored stripes at the feathered end of each arrow, totaling in five stripes per arrow. Alternate between all five colors so each arrow has one of the five colors listed in the previous step and no arrows are the same.
  6. Instruction #3
  7. Using a fan brush, apply Red Nebula over the Watermelon Slice areas, Champagne Starburst over Cashmere Beige, Supernova Berry over Razzle Berry, Ultraviolet over Vivid Violet, and Pink Cosmos over Baby Pink.
