Dolphin Chalky Finish Wall Decor

A dolphin plays in ocean waves in this sunny, summertime wall accent.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- pencil
- 2" chip brush
- 3/4" flat brush
- #8 round brush
- wooden pallet
INSTRUCTIONS
- Using a 2" chip brush, paint the pallet with Treasure.
- Using a 2" chip brush, dry-brush the surface with Serene.
- Use a pencil and tracing and transfer papers to transfer the wave pattern onto the pallet. Use Escape and a #8 round brush to outline the waves and a 3/4" flat brush and Escape to fill them in.
- Use a pencil and the tracing and transfer papers to transfer the dolphin pattern. Use a #8 round brush to paint it in with Vintage and Everlasting. Dot the eye in Treasure. Paint the sun in Inheritance.
- Use a #8 round brush to loosely free-hand the word "Summer" with Serene. Use the same brush to accent the waves and outline the waves and sun in Everlasting.
