    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. You will need any size globe and a slightly larger canvas to fit half of the globe on it.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Use necessary tools to remove the metal base and bracket. Pull the globe apart.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Use a medium flat brush to mix turquoise, blue, and white together, using the mix to paint over the existing water on the globe.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Create four texture sand mixes for the continents: Use a palette knife to mix texture sand with yellow, orange, and light green and dark green paints. Paint first with yellow, then blend in other colors. (White can be added to colors to highlight.)
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Use the large flat brush to mix dark turquoise and white together. Painting in a circular motion, make an inner ring, adding more turquoise as you paint out to the edges.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Position the globe in the canvas center. Use a pencil to trace around the globe. Use scissors to cut several scrapbook papers into squares, triangles, and rectangles for the houses and roofs. Position the houses and roofs before adhering.
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Use the large flat brush and matte medium to adhere the houses and roofs.
    14. Instruction #7
    15. Use the small flat brush and white to paint windows on the houses.
    16. Instruction #8
    17. Use the round brush to outline the houses and windows and to add doors using your choice of colors.

    19. Print off the three word patterns. Trace and transfer words onto the globe. Use the round brush and white to paint the lettering. Rinse brush. Use the same brush to shade the letters with blue green.
    20. Instruction #10
    21. Once the paint is dry, use E6000 Glue to adhere the globe to the center of the canvas.
