Easter Peeps® Pastel Painting

A colorful painting of a favorite candy will be the center of attention at your Easter gathering.
SUPPLIES
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- pencil
- 1" flat brush
- 1/2" flat brush
- 12" x 12" canvas
- cotton tip swab
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Paint the entire canvas in Buff Beige, including the sides, using the 1” flat brush.
- Find an outline of a rabbit-shaped Peep® and print it to 5” x 2.5”. Trace and transfer the design to the desired locations on the canvas, making sure that the images are in line with each other.
- Paint each Peep® accordingly. Top row, left to right: Pistachio Mint, Pink Cadililac, a 1:1 ratio of Eggplant and Cotton Ball (mix ahead of time). Bottom row, left to right: Winter Blue, Chick, and Peach Silk. Let dry.
- Use a pencil to place a dot where the eyes and nose will be placed. Repeat pencil note for eyes if needed. Dip a cotton swab into Black Tie and dot onto the eyes and nose. Let dry. Erase any extra lines from outlines.
