Easy Cheetah Print Ornament

Decorate an ornament in a trendy animal print with DecoArt® Opaque Glass Paint Markers™.
SUPPLIES
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- clear glass ornament
- embellishments
- thin ribbon or string
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Shake and prime all Opaque Glass Paint markers by pumping the tip on a clean surface until all the paint fills the tip. Continue to shake/prime markers as you use them to get the best opaque coverage.
- Wipe down the ornament with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel to remove any oil or dirt.
- Draw on the black part of the print, using a Black Opaque Glass Marker, by painting the lopsided "U" shapes all over the ornament. (Some design inspirations have been provided, but feel free to look at a photo of an actual cheetah print.) Allow to dry.
- Paint Gold Opaque Glass Paint Marker into the center of the Black shapes. (Optional: For a more colorful ornament, paint the centers with Red, Yellow, Fuchsia, Violet, Blue, Green, and Turquoise Opaque Glass Paint Markers.) Allow to dry.
- Add a ribbon, in a complementary color, to hang. Personalize the ornament by adding an initial, a name, or the year. To make a perfect gift, add things to the inside like a rolled-up note, money, or other embellishments.
- Add this ornament with other DIY ornaments to make a colorful, fun tree!
