SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• rubbing alcohol
• paintbrushes
• drugstore glass candy containers

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the glass surfaces using rubbing alcohol and a paper towel.

2. Basecoat the bases of the jars to just over the first bevel from the bottom, using Cadmium Yellow for one jar and Oyster Beige for the other. Allow to dry completely; add another coat.

3. Paint the lids using the same steps as above. Allow to dry; add another coat.

4. Use Champagne Starburst to paint over the basecoat. Allow to dry. Add a second coat until the glitter covers the paint well. To create the glitter dragging effect, lightly load a brush with glitter and paint about 1" to 2" from the basecoated area. (See photo.)

5. Repeat the steps above for the lids.
