End Of Summer Kids Crafts

End Of Summer Kids Crafts

With only a few weeks of summer vacation left we're trying to squeeze in as much fun as we can. I have to admit it was difficult keeping the kids busy over the last two months. I try to keep them occupied as often as I can, but somedays I still hear the infamous "mom, I'm bored." Luckily we have a variety of craft supplies available to create easy crafts to keep them busy. I've found that my children enjoy simple crafts that don't require a long list of supplies. You can head outdoors for sticks or rocks then give them paint and watch them use their imagination. Today I'm sharing some of my favorite ideas that you can make with kids.

My kids really enjoy painting rocks. You can create any design your imagination desires. When I spotted these monster rocks from Makoodle I knew my kids would love them.

Mason jars have hundreds of uses! These animal toy mason jars would be great for small toys and Lego pieces. You can find the tutorial on Mason Jar Crafts Love.

I think it's safe to claim that Minions are adorable and kids can't help but like them. These Minion Jars from Crazy Little Projects are perfect for parties.

Kids will enjoy making their own tic-tac-toe game with this tutorial from Suzy's Sitcom.

Another great way to keep kids busy is to make popsicle stick crafts. This popsicle stick dragonfly from Crafty Morning is too cute!

Do you remember making tin can stilts as a kid? This would make a fun activity project for kids. I can see my children having a great time playing with their own stilts. You can find the tutorial to make your own fox stilts on Casa Azul Studio.

Last but not least, how about painting sticks? Seems easy enough, right? Kids can pick up a variety of shapes and sizes and use paint to create their fun designs.
