    3. Mix together white, Cobalt Turquoise, and a small amount of Yellow Oxide to paint the notebook in. Mix in more Cobalt Turquoise and a very small amount of black to paint in the ruler. Mix white, Green Gold, and Yellow Oxide to paint in the pompom trim with a round brush. Mix white with a little black to paint in the scissor blades; use a slightly darker mix for the back blade. Paint the scissor handle in black.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Mix white, Primary Magenta, and Cadmium Red to paint the hot glue gun, pencil sharpener, and shadow of the eraser. Mix in more white into the mix and paint the rest of the eraser. Mix Raw Umber and white for the pencil shavings, pencil tip, and spool; then mix Hansa Yellow Medium, Raw Umber, and white to paint the pencil in. Mix orange, brown, and white for the paint tube. Use Titan Buff to paint the tape and paint bottle.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Use the remainder of all of your mixes to begin adding dots of glitter by the hot glue gun. Add layers of dots for this look. Use Raw Umber to paint the paint brush handle, grey for the ferrule, and black for the bristles. Use a liner brush to paint the thread in black.
    8. Mix slightly darker shades of each color on the objects and add small shadows to each. Mix Sap Green and Green Gold to paint cacti on the tape. Use a liner brush to paint text on the eraser. Add ruler marks with a liner brush in a mix of Cobalt Turquoise and black.
    9. Instruction #5
    10. Using a liner brush, add gold font, sewing needle, and metal to pencil sharpener. First, use black to add streaks of string onto the spool. Once it has dried, add lines of dark grey on top of the black string.
