"Everyone is Irish" St. Pat's Day T-Shirt

Paint and stencil a t-shirt shirt so you don't get pinched on St. Patrick's Day.

SUPPLIES

water container
palette or plastic plate
transfer paper
painter's tape
wax paper
#6 flat brush
cardboard
#1 liner brush
cotton t-shirt
#1 round brush
1/4" pouncer
cosmetic sponges
pen or pencil

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

Pre-wash the cotton t-shirt with no softeners.

Find a piece of cardboard to fit inside the t-shirt. Cut to size. Use wax or freezer paper to cover most or all of the cardboard. Use painter's tape to hold in place.

Instruction #1

Stretch the shirt over the cardboard with the wax or freezer paper being right under where the paint will go.

Instruction #2

Use the Americana Brim & Crown Stencil with the top hat, holding in place or securing in place with painter's tape. Use the #6 flat brush to mix (1) part Bright Avocado with (1) part Yellow Green. Load a cosmetic sponge with the mix and use to fill in the hat completely. Wash stencil.

Instruction #3

Use the Americana Mustaches Stencil under the hat. (Besides using painter's tape to hold the stencil in place, you can also use it to block off the other mustaches.) Load a new cosmetic sponge with Cadmium Orange to pounce on the mustache of choice. Wash stencil.

Instruction #4

Use the #6 flat brush and Bright Avocado to paint the band around the hat. Rinse brush. Use the #1 liner brush and Bright Avocado to paint the detail on the top of the hat. Rinse brush.

Instruction #5

Use a pen or pencil with white transfer paper to transfer all the word patterns onto the shirt under the hat and mustache. Use the #1 liner brush and Ultra White to paint on the word "Everyone" and outline the small shamrock in the letter "o". Rinse brush.

Instruction #6

Use the same #1 liner brush and True Green to fill in the shamrock inside the "O". Rinse brush.

Instruction #7

Use the #1 liner brush and Ultra White to basecoat the word "IS" and the decorative swirl above and below it. Rinse brush.

Instruction #8

Use the #1 round brush to mix (1) part Bright Avocado with (3) parts True Green. Use the mix with the #1 round brush to fill in the entire word "IRISH". Rinse brush.

Instruction #9

Use the #1 liner brush and Ultra White to paint on the word "on". Rinse brush.

Instruction #10

Use the #1 round brush and Ultra White to basecoat the words "St. Paddy's Day". Rinse brush. Use the same brush and Yellow Green to fill in the same words "St. Paddy's Day". Rinse brush.

Instruction #11

Use the 1/4" pouncer and Bright Avocado to make random polka dots on the words "St. Paddy's Day". Wash pouncer.

Instruction #12

Use the same 1/4" pouncer and Yellow Green to make a period after "st." and for the apostrophe between the "y" and "s". Wash pouncer. Finish the apostrophe with the #1 liner brush and Yellow Green. Rinse brush.

Instruction #13

Remove cardboard. Follow the SoSoft Fabric paint label for dry and wash times.

Shipping Guidelines:

For US orders shipped via Ground, please allow 6 to 10 business days from the time of order for processing and delivery.

For 2nd Day shipping (US only), please allow 2 to 4 business days from the time of order for processing and delivery. (Note that aerosol sprays will not be shipped via 2nd Day.)

Delivery of items offered in our online store is limited to an address in the United States including U.S. territories, Alaska, and Hawaii. Shipments cannot be delivered to PO Boxes.

Pricing:

Orders totalling over $50 that are being shipped to the US will have the option for free UPS ground shipping (excluding Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii).

**Free shipping will not be applicable on any orders containing aerosol spray cans as they are considered hazardous by our shipping providers.

Items purchased will be charged at the sales price indicated at the time of purchase. Prices are continuously updated and are subject to change. Past orders will not be updated to reflect later prices. Pricing is always in US dollars.

Clearance Products:

Items offered at clearance pricing are available only while supplies last. Should a clearance item be no longer available, e-mail notification will be sent identifying the cancelled item. Your credit card will not be charged for any item not shipped.

Return Requirements

Products must be returned to DecoArt within 60 days of receipt.
Product must be returned in original condition and bottle/package.
Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. DecoArt will pay for shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.

Initialising a Return

If you have an account and purchased an item from the DecoArt website:

Sign into your store account.
Access the Order tab, click on the order, locate the item you wish to return and hit “Return Item” button
Complete the Return Items form and click Submit.
After completing the request, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your request. Simultaneously, a notification email is delivered to the email address specified in your Store Profile Settings with updated status of your request.
Someone from our DecoArt team will respond to your request by the next business day. We may request additional information, such as batch codes, product photos, etc. to properly service your request.
If a product needs to be returned, someone on our DecoArt team will instruct you on the return process.
You will receive an email notification every time the return status changes.

If You have not set up an account, or you purchased from an authorized retail store please email your return request to returns@decoart.com.

To better assist you in resolving your request in a timely manner, please include the following information:

Purchase location (Retail store, eCommerce site, etc)
