Make this easy graphic throw pillow using SoSoft® Fabric Paints.

SUPPLIES

• scissors
• cardboard
• masking tape
• small stencil brush
• small flat brush
• wood board
• pencil
• white canvas pillow cover

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Any plain throw pillow cover of any size will work for this project. (I found an 18"x 18" one with a black trim at Hobby Lobby that worked perfectly.)

2. Cut a piece of cardboard to fit into the pillow cover. Print and cut out the pattern shapes for the templates. Lay out the sun, flowers, cloud, and butterfly onto the pillow. Place the letters from the Whimsical Delight Stencil on a Ring; spell out "BE KIND" (or any other message you would like). With a pencil, trace around the shapes and inside the top of each letter to mark the place.

3. Remove any hair or lint from the pillow cover with a piece of masking tape. (See photo.)

4. Using a flat brush, paint the cloud with Peacock Teal; paint the sun with Bittersweet Orange; paint the flowers with Fuchsia; and paint the butterflies with Antique Gold. Allow to dry.

5. Place the stencils back onto their marked spots and affix with masking tape. Using a small stencil brush, slightly dab and apply Lamp Black in a circular motion. Outline each shape with Lamp Black using a small flat brush. Allow to dry.

6. This is a simple and fun project for anyone to make!

7. Add with other colorful home decor to create a vibrant space!
