Even a tissue box cover can include a touch of family using Decou-Page Photo Transfer Medium

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • paper towels
    • sandpaper
    • 1" flat brush
    • #2 round brush
    • wooden tissue box
    • spoon
    • printed images

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Prep the tissue box surface by sanding and removing any dust with a damp paper towel.
    2. Apply Americana Decou-Page Photo Transfer Medium to one entire side of the box and to an image. Position the image with the image side down and remove any wrinkles or bubbles. (Use the back of a spoon to help smooth out wrinkles and to ensure adhesion.) Repeat for all sides of the box. Let dry for eight hours.
    3. After eight hours, wet the back of the image with clean water. Rub a finger in a circular motion gently to remove the image paper backing. Be careful not to rub too hard and remove the image. Repeat for all sides.
    4. Paint the top of the tissue box with Orchid.
    5. Free-hand doodles in Pineapple and Spa Blue on each side of the box using a small round brush.
