Farmer's Market Apron and Jar Set

Outfit yourself and your kitchen with this painted apron and jar set, celebrating the harvest.

SUPPLIES

water container
palette or plastic plate
pencil
1" chip brush
Mason jars
3/4" flat brush
#8 round brush
canvas apron

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

When referring to the Mason jars, use Americana Chalky Finish for Glass. When referring to the apron, use Americana Decor Chalky Finish paint.

Use a 3/4" flat brush to paint the middle of the jars in Primitive. Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint the top and bottom (one of each color) in Heritage, New Life, and a 2:1 mix of Romance and Primitive. Save the mix for future steps. Paint loosely; no perfectly straight lines required.

Instruction #1

Use a 1" chip brush to dry-brush the top and bottom portion of all three jars in Primitive.

Instruction #2

Use a pencil to draw the patterns onto the jars. Use a #8 round brush to paint the the pear preserves jar design in New Life; the pumpkin butter jar design in Heritage; and the strawberry jam design using the Romance/Primitive mix from step one. Using a #8 round brush, add highlights in Primitive and Everlasting to the fruit.

Instruction #3

Using a #8 round brush, paint a line of Everlasting on the top and bottom of the "label". Using a liner brush, paint dotted lines over the Everlasting lines on all three Mason jars. Using a liner brush, loosely outline the pear and paint the eyes and mouth in Relic. Using a #8 round brush, paint the cheeks in the Romance/Primitive mix from step one.

Using a liner brush, loosely outline the pumpkin and paint the eyes and mouth in Relic. Using a #8 round brush, paint the cheeks in the Romance/Primitive mix from step one.

Instruction #5

Using a liner brush, loosely outline the strawberry and paint the eyes and mouth in Relic. Using a #8 round brush, paint the cheeks in the Romance/Primitive mix from step one.

Instruction #6

For the apron, use the same pattern, but enlarge to pocket size. Use a pencil to draw the pattern onto the canvas apron. Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint the strawberry in a 2:1 mix of Romance and Primitive and the pumpkin in Heritage. Save mix for future steps. Use a #8 round brush to add highlights in Primitive and Everlasting. Use a #8 round brush to paint the greens in New Life. Use a #8 round brush to loosely outline both.

Instruction #7

Use a #8 round brush to paint the strawberry's eyes and mouth in Relic. Use a #8 round brush to paint the cheeks with the Romance/Primitive mix from step 7 with a small amount of Everlasting to lighten the color.

Instruction #8

Use a #8 round brush to paint the pumpkin's eyes and mouth in Relic. Use a #8 round brush to paint the cheeks with the Romance/Primitive mix from step 7.

Instruction #9

Use a #8 round brush to paint the edges of the apron in Everlasting.

Instruction #10

Use a liner brush to paint dotted lines over the Everlasting in Relic. Use a #8 round brush to randomly free-hand words of your choice associated with farmer's market in all three colors: New Life, Heritage, and the Romance/Primitive mix from step 7.

Shipping Guidelines:

For US orders shipped via Ground, please allow 6 to 10 business days from the time of order for processing and delivery.

For 2nd Day shipping (US only), please allow 2 to 4 business days from the time of order for processing and delivery. (Note that aerosol sprays will not be shipped via 2nd Day.)

Delivery of items offered in our online store is limited to an address in the United States including U.S. territories, Alaska, and Hawaii. Shipments cannot be delivered to PO Boxes.

Pricing:

Orders totalling over $50 that are being shipped to the US will have the option for free UPS ground shipping (excluding Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii).

**Free shipping will not be applicable on any orders containing aerosol spray cans as they are considered hazardous by our shipping providers.

Items purchased will be charged at the sales price indicated at the time of purchase. Prices are continuously updated and are subject to change. Past orders will not be updated to reflect later prices. Pricing is always in US dollars.

Clearance Products:

Items offered at clearance pricing are available only while supplies last. Should a clearance item be no longer available, e-mail notification will be sent identifying the cancelled item. Your credit card will not be charged for any item not shipped.

Return Requirements

Products must be returned to DecoArt within 60 days of receipt.
Product must be returned in original condition and bottle/package.
Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. DecoArt will pay for shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.

Initialising a Return

If you have an account and purchased an item from the DecoArt website:

Sign into your store account.
Access the Order tab, click on the order, locate the item you wish to return and hit “Return Item” button
Complete the Return Items form and click Submit.
After completing the request, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your request. Simultaneously, a notification email is delivered to the email address specified in your Store Profile Settings with updated status of your request.
Someone from our DecoArt team will respond to your request by the next business day. We may request additional information, such as batch codes, product photos, etc. to properly service your request.
If a product needs to be returned, someone on our DecoArt team will instruct you on the return process.
You will receive an email notification every time the return status changes.

If You have not set up an account, or you purchased from an authorized retail store please email your return request to returns@decoart.com.

To better assist you in resolving your request in a timely manner, please include the following information:

Purchase location (Retail store, eCommerce site, etc)
Order Number (if applicable)
