Light up you holidays with an ornament colored with DecoArt Opaque Glass Markers

    • paper towels
    • rubbing alcohol
    • plastic ornament
    • clear glass ornament
    • thin ribbon or string

Shake and prime glass paint markers before use. Prime by pumping tip of marker on a clean dry surface. Pump tip until paint fill the entire tip.

    1. For this project I chose an oval, clear plastic ornament. With a slightly flattened surface. (A clear, glass ornament can be used as well) A great thing about DecoArt Opaque Glass Paint markers is that they can be used to decorate many different types of surfaces.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Wipe down the surface of the ornament with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel to remove any oil or dirt. With the Black Opaque Glass Paint Marker, draw on the provided pattern design (or make up your own). Allow to dry.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Begin to fill in shapes with colors. I started with Turquoise and Red Opaque Glass Paint Markers. Allow to dry.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Add more color by painting some sections with Violet, Green and Fuchsia Opaque Glass Paint Markers. Allow to dry.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Paint on Yellow Opaque Glass Paint Marker. Allow to dry. (Optional: If you like this look, paint the other side with the same technique/colors. Otherwise, leave the other side clear; the ornament is reversible and looks very nice hung in a window with light shining through it!) Allow to dry.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Add a ribbon or string to hang. (Optional: Paint on an initial, name or the date to personalize. Add embellishments to the inside like a note or glitter!)
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Hang with other DIY ornaments to create colorful, fun Christmas decorations around the house or on the tree!
    14. Instruction #7
