INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Using a pencil, free-hand or use provided template and the tracing and transfer papers to trace around the flowers. Trace randomly around the house.
- Dab Titanium White and Quinacridone Magenta around the outside of the flowers to create an abstract background.
- Trace over the flower shapes with the Black 3D Opaque Gloss Enamels Writer.
- Fill in the flowers with Hansa Yellow Medium and then coat over with Gold (Interference). Paint the centers of the flowers Carbon Black.
- Fill in the flower centers with Liquid Glass. While wet, scatter beads into the Liquid Glass. (Do one side at a time and allow to dry completely before moving to the next side. This will keep the Liquid Glass from sliding around.)
- Paint the outside rim of the flower centers Cerulean Blue.
- Create a heart by tracing the heart template onto chipboard. Cut out with scissors or a craft knife.
- Paint the heart on both sides with a 2:1 mix of Quinacridone Magenta and Gold (Interference).
- Print out quote of choice on a computer and cut into strips. Using Americana Matte Decou-Page, adhere the quote onto the heart.
- Punch a hole into the top of the heart and run a 4" piece of embroidery thread through the hole and knot.
- Measure and cut out the Americana Decou-Page Moroccan Paper to decoupage on the inside of the box. Decoupage the paper to the inside, removing any wrinkles or bubbles with a finger.
- Using E6000 Glue, glue 1/4" of embroidery thread to the top of the box. Once dry, cover the glued end with Decou-Page Papers.
