Floral Vine Design Upcycled Wine Bottle

Add a bright floral motif to an old wine bottle with Americana Gloss Enamels

SUPPLIES

    • paper towels
    • rubbing alcohol
    • toothpicks
    • wine bottle

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Start with cleaning your wine bottle with Rubbing Alcohol and paper towels. Let dry completely.
    2. Using the White writer paint five curved lines from the bottom of the bottle in various lengths. The longest curved line being in the middle.
    3. Using the Bright Orange writer paint a swirl at the bottom of the first vine on the left. Using the Primary Yellow writer paint three small dots on the other side of that Orange swirl.
    4. Using the Yellow writer paint a small yellow half circle connecting to the curved White line about two inches or so above the Yellow swirl.
    5. Using the True Red writer, paint four petals around the half circle. Using the Yellow writer paint a small dot inside each petal. Using the Orange writer paint a border above the Red petals, curving in with each petal.
    6. Using the Festive Green writer, paint a leaf to the upper left of the Red flower.
    7. Using the Green writer paint two dots on each side at the bottom of the second curved White line.
    8. Using the Yellow writer paint a small dot on the right side, above those four Green dots and using the Red writer paint three dots around that Yellow dot to make a small flower.
    9. Using the Orange writer paint a half circle to the left, about an inch from that small red flower and paint a dot in the middle of that half circle.
    10. Using the Lavender writer paint small scallops around the Orange half circle. Repeat this for four rows.
    11. Using the Green writer paint a small leaf to the left of the Lavender flower and large leaves to the right. Paint a line in the middle of each leaf and lines from the middle to the outer edge.
    12. Using the Green writer paint a curved green line about an inch long with small swirls from each end.
    13. Using the Yellow writer paint a solid triangle design for the flower, between the small swirls.
    14. Using the Yellow writer, paint three small dots to the left of the triangle flower. Using the Yellow and Red writers paint a small Red flower above the triangle flower.
    15. Using the Red writer paint a large swirl to the left of the longest, middle curved White line.
    16. Using the Green writer paint two large leaves at the bottom, to the right of the large Red swirl.
    17. Using the Yellow writer paint five dots above the large Red swirl. The middle dot should be large and the two to each side, smaller.
    18. Using the Yellow writer paint a small half circle about two inches from the Yellow dots. Dot the middle of that half circle.
    19. Using the Yellow writer paint five petals around the half circle. Using the Lavender writer place two dots inside each petal and a dot between and outside of each petal.
    20. Using the Green writer paint a curved green line about an inch long with small swirls from each end.
    21. Using the Yellow writer paint a solid triangle design for the flower, between the small swirls.
    22. Repeat steps 19 & 20 to paint another triangle flower to the left, slightly above the first triangle flower.
    23. Using the Green writer paint two small leaves above the triangle flower on the left.
    24. Using the Yellow and Red writers paint a small Red flower above the triangle flower on the right and next to the leaves that are on the left.
    25. Using the Yellow writer paint three small dots above the small red flower.
    26. Using the Yellow writer paint five dots at the bottom of the fourth line on the left. The middle dot should be largest.
    27. Using the Green writer paint a leaf to the right of the Yellow dots.
    28. Using the Green writer paint a curved green line about an inch long with small swirls from each end. Using the Yellow writer paint a solid triangle at the end of the curved Green line and between the swirls.
    29. Using the Yellow writer paint a half circle, with a large dot inside the half circle to the right, slightly above the Yellow triangle flower.
    30. Using the Red writer paint small scallops above the half circle. Paint two rows of scallops.
    31. Above the red flower, paint three dots using the Yellow writer.
    32. Using the Green writer paint two large leaves above those three dots. Paint a line through the middle of each leaf and lines from the middle to the border of each leaf.
    33. To the left of the leaves, using the Green writer paint a curved green line about an inch long with small swirls from each end. Using the Yellow writer paint a solid triangle at the end of curved line, between the two swirls.
    34. Using the Yellow and Red writers paint a small red flower above the Yellow triangle flower, to the left of the two large leaves.
