Change a simple round table into a flowered gaming table with new colors from Americana® Acrylics.

    • stylus or pencil
    • ruler
    • round wooden table
    • 1" painter's tape
    • cosmetic sponge
    • fine/small brush
    • copy paper
    • medium brush

Some steps may require several coats; use a hairdryer to speed up wait time.

Make sure the stencil is fully coated and dry before removing and re-using. Double-check the bottom of the stencil before placing in the next spot. Use a cosmetic sponge to aid in application. You may also choose to use painter's tape to hold the stencil in place.

Plan and map out the pattern of stenciled flowers beforehand on a piece of paper.

    1. Cover the entire table in Morning Mist. Fold the table to make sure it doesn't seal in place while drying.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Measure and mark off in pencil a square centered on the rectangular part of the tabletop. (Fold the table edges to make this easier to measure.) Cover the square in Light Sage. Let dry. Measure eight rows and columns using a ruler and pencil. Paint alternating squares in Plum Suede.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Use the Garden Bloom stencil and Magenta, Light Sage, Periwinkle, and Shoreline to paint the flower pattern, blending colors into each other if you wish. (Or you can choose to take a more precise approach.) You may find that a cosmetic sponge makes application easier and may want to use painter's tape to hold the stencil in place.
