SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • assorted scrapbook paper
    • large palette knife
    • notebook
    • paintbrushes

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Using Matte Medium, adhere selected scrapbook paper to the cover of the notebook. Apply Texture Medium using a palette knife. Allow to dry.

    3. Cut out images, such as flowers and leaves, from scrapbook paper.

    5. Using Matte Medium, adhere the scrapbook pieces in random areas of the notebook. (In the photo, the flowers are on the bottom and the leaves float in the "sky" behind the girl.) Use the provided pattern to trace the girl onto the center of the notebook. (See photo for placement.)
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Paint the upper "sky" in Quinacridone Violet, Cobalt Turquoise Hue, and Phthalo Green-Blue. (See photo.) Paint the girl's skin mixing 3 drops of Diarylide Yellow, 1 drop of Cadmium Red Hue, and a dime size of Titanium White (proportion vary). Paint her hair in Diarylide Yellow and her dress in Cobalt Turquoise Hue.
