Glass Initial Ornament with Wreath

A personal touch to holiday décor with this ornament made with DecoArt® Opaque Glass Paint Markers™.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • rubbing alcohol
    • #0 liner brush
    • craft knife
    • Contac® paper or other self-stick plastic
    • round glass ornaments
    • cosmetic foam wedge
    • letter stencil
    • #2 round glass paintbrush

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    When applying multiple coats of glass paint over self-stick stencils or plastic, run a craft knife or razor blade around edges before removing for best results.

    1. Clean the ornament with a paper towel and rubbing alcohol.

    3. Use a craft knife to cut out a circle from Contac paper or other self-stick plastic.

    5. Peel the backing from the plastic and adhere the circle to the ornament.

    7. Use a cosmetic sponge to tap Black inside the circle. Allow to dry between coats.

    9. Carefully peel away the self-stick plastic liner.

    11. Use a #2 round glass brush and White to paint the initial or use your favorite stencil.

    13. Use a liner brush and Festive Green to paint a leaf border around the circle.

    15. Use the handle end of a paintbrush and Tuscan Red to dot berries between the leaves.
