Add a sweet touch to your home with this glittery cotton candy painting using Galaxy Glitter™.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• ruler
• pencil
• canvas
• palette knife
• paintbrushes

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Measure and draw with pencil two evenly-divided diagonal lines across the canvas to create three large stripes. In the center of the canvas, lightly sketch cotton candy on a cone. (Use the provided pattern, if needed.)

2. Using Clear Modeling Paste and a palette knife, outline the insides of the diagonals and the cotton candy.

3. Paint the inside of the top diagonal using Primary Yellow; the center diagonal, Ultramarine Blue; and the bottom diagonal, Phthalo Green-Blue. Highlight using varying mixes of the listed colors and Titanium White.

4. Paint the inside of the cotton candy in pink. (To make pink, mix (4) parts Titanium White with 1-2 drops of Quinacridone Magenta.) Highlight and shade the cotton candy with Quinacridone Violet, Ultramarine Blue, and Dioxazine Purple. Paint the cone in Primary Yellow and Quinacridone Magenta.

5. Paint the cotton candy using Clear Ice Comet. Allow to dry. Using Purple Eclipse, Milky Way Blue, Pink Cosmos, and Supernova Berry, shade the cotton candy, paying attention to make the folds darker. (The glitter can also be blended to enhance shading.)
