Turn lace into headgear fit for a queen with Glamour Dust Glitter Paint and DecoArt’s new Americana® Fabric Stiffener.

    • paper towels
    • scissors
    • tape measure
    • lace
    • #12 flat brush
    • small mixing bowls
    • bottle or round container

    1. In small mixing bowls, mix Fabric Stiffener with Gold Glitz 1:1 with slightly less paint than Fabric Stiffener.
    2. Measure and cut the lace into strips. (I cut 10” strips for infant-sized crowns.)
    3. Rub the lace piece in Fabric Stiffener/Gold Glitz mixture to coat thoroughly.
    4. Squeeze excess Fabric Stiffener/Gold Glitz mixture off the lace and wrap the lace piece around a container. (I used a glass bottle.)
    5. While the lace piece is still wet, dust with Gold Glamour Dust.
    6. Allow it to dry for 24 hours.
    7. When lace is dry, remove it from the bottle. Using a #12 flat brush, add Americana Matte Decou-Page to the lace ends and adhere them together. (I used a clothespin to hold pieces together while they dried.)
    8. For a pink crown, repeat steps 1-8, using Celebration Pink, but omit step 5.
