    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Lightly sand the pallet and wipe with a cloth before starting. Allow paint to dry between each coat. Paint the clothespins while you're waiting for the pallet to dry.

    1. Use a small paintbrush to apply Dark Jade to the wooden pallet. Wipe back the excess stain with a clean, dry cloth.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Apply large letters stickers or a stencil to the top of the pallet spelling out GREETINGS. Secure the edges to the wood by rubbing with your finger.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Layer on a topcoat of Everlasting. Let paint dry. Add second coat, if needed.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Once the paint is dry, sand the edges and top of the sign for a distressed look.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Remove the vinyl letters from the board to expose the Dark Jade stain.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. With colors of your choice, paint designs on the clothespins while you are waiting for the pallet to dry. (We used Deep Burgundy and Primary Red.) You can make them all the same pattern or use your imagination and make them all different.
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Use a staple gun to secure the twine to the top back of the pallet.
    14. Instruction #7
    15. Wrap the twine around the pallet three times, going in the same direction. Keep the twine tight. Then wrap it going in the other direction until you reach the top again. Secure the end to the back of the pallet with another staple. (The twine will make a crisscross pattern.)
    16. Instruction #8
    17. Add the clothespins to the twine to hold the cards.
    18. Instruction #9
    19. Attach the cards to the card holder using the clothespins.
