Happy and Bright Spring Flower Pot

This easy springtime decoration combines colorful fun foam and Patio Paint Outdoor™.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- scissors
- 3/4" flat brush
- low temp-hot glue gun and glue sticks
- terra cotta pot
- sponge pouncer
- Fun Foam sheets
- 18" wooden dowel rod
- Styrofoam (to fit inside pot)
- shredded paper
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Using a 3/4" flat brush, basecoat the inside of the pot and rim Fuchsia. Basecoat the remainder of the pot and dowel Mistletoe Green.
- Use a round sponge pouncer to stamp random dots on the Mistletoe Green area with Fiesta Yellow, Fuchsia, Tiger Lily Orange, and Blue Bahama.
- Trace the patterns onto foam sheets using the tracing and transfer papers and a pencil: Cut out the flower shape from the orange fun foam; the circle from pink foam; and the grass and leaves from bright green foam.
- Press the Styrofoam inside the pot. Secure with hot glue if necessary.
- Position and press the dowel into the Styrofoam.
- Position and adhere the flower, circle, and leaves onto dowel with hot glue.
- Poke pieces of grass into the Styrofoam and insert the grass section.
- Fill the open areas in the pot with shredded or tissue paper.
