    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • tracing paper
    • transfer paper
    • scissors
    • 3/4" flat brush
    • low temp-hot glue gun and glue sticks

    • Fun Foam sheets
    • 18" wooden dowel rod
    • Styrofoam (to fit inside pot)

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Using a 3/4" flat brush, basecoat the inside of the pot and rim Fuchsia. Basecoat the remainder of the pot and dowel Mistletoe Green.
    2. Use a round sponge pouncer to stamp random dots on the Mistletoe Green area with Fiesta Yellow, Fuchsia, Tiger Lily Orange, and Blue Bahama.
    3. Trace the patterns onto foam sheets using the tracing and transfer papers and a pencil: Cut out the flower shape from the orange fun foam; the circle from pink foam; and the grass and leaves from bright green foam.
    4. Press the Styrofoam inside the pot. Secure with hot glue if necessary.
    5. Position and press the dowel into the Styrofoam.
    6. Position and adhere the flower, circle, and leaves onto dowel with hot glue.
    7. Poke pieces of grass into the Styrofoam and insert the grass section.
    8. Fill the open areas in the pot with shredded or tissue paper.
