Hidden Glowing Tray

Curl up under the covers and enjoy a movie with this tray, glowing with Glow in the Dark Paint.
SUPPLIES
- sandpaper
- 1/2" angle brush
- clean cloth
- electric drill
- oval wooden plaque
- small brush
- cabinet handles
- wood burning tool
INSTRUCTIONS
- Use a wood burning tool to carve lines into the wooden plaque.
- Fill the wood burned lines with Milky Way Blue, using a small brush to place the glitter paint in the grooves. Let dry completely.
- When dry, sand the painted areas to make them flat and level with the plaque surface. Wipe off the dust.
- Paint the wood with Turquoise on a 1/2" angle brush. Use a dry cloth to wipe away some of the wash to create an aged look.
- Add the Glow in the Dark Paint over the glitter paint in the burned grooves, using a small brush to paint and filling the lines over the glitter. Let dry completely.
- Sand the dried glow product to make the surface of the tray even and smooth. Sand the edges as well, to distress the finish more.
- Brush the DuraClear Ultra-Matte Varnish over the wood and let dry.
- Brush Silver Spark over the cabinet handles. Let dry. Use an electric drill to attach the handles to the tray.
