The box was painted with a mix of the following Media Fluid colours,
I wanted to create a quite natural slate grey colour that had a subtle purple tone by using Medium Grey Value 6, Dark grey value 3, Carbon Black Dioxazine Purple and Green Gold.

Applied Elegant Finish- Glorious Gold to the interior.

The embellishments for the top and sides were covered in Media Metallic gold.

I then decided to add Texture sand to add additional detail to the embellishments on the lid, followed with a further coat of the Metallic Gold.

Apply Carbon Black Antiquing cream with a brush and allow to dry and wipe back with a soft cloth to enhance the crackle effect.

The decorative trim and lid embellishment were distressed with Burnt Umber and Carbon black.

The feet were silver beads that I fixed with panel pins, coloured in the same method as the other metallic detail.
