Add simple floral patterns to plain canvas shoes to lighten and brighten spring footwear.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• #2 liner brush
• stylus
• black canvas shoes
• white transfer paper
• pen

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Use pen and white transfer paper to trace patterns onto shoes.
2. Use #2 liner brush with Cotton Ball to fill in each pattern. (This may need two coats: let dry between coats.)
3. Use #2 liner brush and Canary to go over the large flower just on the edges to give it contrast. Rinse brush.
4. Use the same brush and load with Black Tie to add veins to the fern leaves. Rinse brush.
5. Use the stylus to apply Black Tie dots on top of the little round flower. Wipe off stylus.
6. Use the stylus to apply Canary dots next to each fern stem. Wipe off stylus.
