Mom can wear her child's masterpiece with this unique jewelry made with Americana® Decou-Page™.
SUPPLIES
- scissors
- small brush
- medium brush
- bezel
- print out
- jewelry cord
INSTRUCTIONS
- Have your child paint or draw a "work of art". (Or just use one he or she has already made.)
- Make a tiny photocopy of the art and cut it to fit the bezel.
- Use a medium brush to adhere the photocopy to the bezel with Americana Satin Decou-Page and brush more Decou-Page on top. Use a small brush to add glittery accents with Craft Twinkles in a matching color. (I used Sparkling Pink on the princess crown and dress.)
- Use a small brush to paint accents around the perimeter of the bezel in Multi-Surface Acrylics, in a color that matches the art. (Shown: Flamingo)
- Loop jewelry cord (in a color that matches) through the bezel and tie two knots, making the length accordingly. (This can be a bracelet or a necklace.) Tie the end in a knot.
