Maxx Gloss Valentine Treat Jars

Create one-of-a-kind containers for Valentine treats with Americana Decor® Maxx Gloss™.


    • water container
    • paper towels
    • rubbing alcohol
    • 1" flat brush
    • disposable gloves
    • clean glass jar
    • wooden tray
    • embellishments of choice
    • E6000 Glue
    • candlestick



    Stir, do not shake, Maxx Gloss before using.

    1. Thoroughly clean and dry the jars, lids, and candlesticks. Wipe all surfaces thoroughly with rubbing alcohol on a paper towel.

    3. Paint the candlesticks and lids with desired colors, painting a top and bottom piece in the same color. Apply thin coats to avoid drips. (Shown: Aqua Waters.)

    5. Mix a little Apple Candy into Ceramic Tile to create a pink shade. Use the mix to paint a jar, lid, and candlestick, if desired.

    7. Allow the painted lids and candlesticks to dry thoroughly before handling.

    9. When items are completely dry, adhere embellishment to top of the lids and the jars to the candlesticks using E6000 Glue. Allow to dry several hours or overnight before handling.

    11. Paint the wooden tray using Ceramic Tile and Aqua Waters.

    13. Fill the jars with a variety of Valentine's candy and place onto the tray once it has completely dried.
