    • palette or plastic plate
    • scissors
    • paintbrush
    • hot glue gun
    • silk flowers
    • scrapbook paper
    • greening pins
    • Styrofoam head

    1. Basecoat the Styrofoam head with two coats of Almond. Paint the eyes in Cotton Ball.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Paint her face: Use Cactus and Green Beret to paint her skin. Blend Red Hot to highlight her cheeks; use Red Hot and Shrimp to paint her lips. Use Black Tie to paint the outline of her eyes and eyelashes, and Coffee Bean for her eyebrows.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. For the snakes, use the provided pattern to trace and cut out snakes or cut them free-hand. Use green, red, purple, and gold scrapbook paper.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Paint various patterns on the snakes such as diamonds, stripes, or triangles. Use different colors on different snakes: Cactus, Green Beret, Eggplant, Shrimp, Red Hot, and Purple Sunset.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Using the two stencils, Shedded and Distressed Harlequin, randomly stencil the patterns onto the snakes. (You can overlap stencils as well.) Use a stenciling color that contrasts with the color of the stripe or pattern you painted in the previous step.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Once you have painted the shapes and stenciled the patterns, dry-brush Yellow Gold (Metallic) over the snakes in random places to add a sheen. (The snake patterns should look different.)
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Pin snakes to the top of Medusa's head using greening pins. Loop the snake hair so that it covers her scalp. Use hot glue to suspend loops around the crown of her head and frame her face.
    14. Instruction #7
    15. Affix green and red silk flowers (purple and other colors would work, too) to the crown of her head.
    16. Instruction #8
