NOTES:
Protect the work surface with parchment paper.
Let paint dry fully before applying additional coats of paint as needed to achieve desired coverage.
Paint one side of the leaf at a time. Leave paint to dry before turning over and painting the back side.
- Gather the supplies.
- Remove individual clusters of faux leaves from the garland for painting.
- Divide the faux leaves evenly into three groups: one to be painted in Ivory Pearl; another in Rose Gold and the last in Champagne.
- Place one grouping of faux leaves down on a flat surface. While holding the leaf down with one hand, paint the surface in Rose Gold. Let dry.
- Turn over and paint the back side of the leaves as well. Repeat with an additional coat of paint for more intense color.
- Paint the other grouping of faux leaves in Ivory Pearl.
- Paint the third grouping of faux leaves in Champagne.
- Continue until all the faux leaves are painted on both sides and the desired coverage is achieved.
- Cut floral wire into several pieces measuring 3” long.
- Place the grapevine wreath on a flat surface. Gather one cluster of Champagne painted leaves at the top and secure with floral wire.
- Secure another Champagne cluster at the bottom and two more on the sides.
- Secure a cluster of Rose Gold painted leaves and Ivory Gold painted leaves beside the other leaves.
- Continue securing the faux leaves with floral wire to the grapevine wreath until the wreath is fully covered.
- Hang and enjoy.
