Instructions:
Gather your supplies!
Apply modeling paste through a stencil on to a Gesso Canvas. As I wanted this to be very textural, it's best to use quite an open pattern.
Use a variety of textures and thickness. Make some areas smooth and add texture to others with the palette knife.
Allow to dry for 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Once dry, apply Media Misters Violet Shimmer, Turquoise Shimmer, Purple and Carbon Black. Because this design is flowers, I focused the lighter brighter colour in the center.
Add heavier areas of the sprays and blend the colours with a wet wipe.
Gradually build the coverage until happy with the colour balance.
Then gently wipe back some of the colour on the raised textural areas with a wet wipe and kitchen paper.
Allow to dry naturally or with a heat tool.
Apply DecoArt Metallic Lustres gently with your fingertip. If you get too much on, just wipe off with a baby wipe.
I used Fab Fuchsia, Brilliant Turquoise, Majestic Purple and Carbon Black
mixing them up with some of the turquoise on the purple areas to add contrast.
