Give your morning coffee a retro touch with this ceramic jug embellished with Americana Gloss Enamels.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• rubbing alcohol
• Contac® paper
• X-Acto® knife
• cosmetic sponge
• fine point Sharpie® marker or pen
• white ceramic jug

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Allow to dry between painting steps.

1. Clean mug surface with rubbing alcohol and paper towels. Let dry completely.
2. Print off pattern and trace onto Contac® paper with ultra fine Sharpie or pen.
3. Cut out insides of pattern insides using X-Acto® Knife
4. Peel Contac® paper apart and place on jug. Rub firmly to make sure no pieces are lifted.
5. Dip cosmetic sponge lightly in Black. Dab excess off before apply to surface. Lightly dab adding as many coats as desired.
6. Before peeling off Contac® paper, use knife to cut around paint to make clean imprint. Remove Contac® paper.
