    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. First prepare shirt by washing it with no fabric softener. Iron shirt to remove any wrinkles that might interfere with painting. Cover working surface if needed. Insert a piece of cardboard into shirt to prevent paint from bleeding.
    2. Cut out templates. Insert pattern as desired into shirt, over cardboard. Tape down, if needed. Follow the lies by painting with SoSoft Lamp Black to create the outline that you will paint in later using a #3 round brush. Free-hand a line for the stems.
    3. Instruction #2
    4. To create a watercolor effect, in background, lightly spritz your t-shirt with water so it is damp but not soaking wet. Dilute Primary Cyan with water and then paint the background area with a wide brush. Allow some areas to be more pigmented and others diluted.
    5. Instruction #3
    6. Cover outline images by masking them with the cut-out patterns used previously, tape down.. Splatter and drip paint various colors randomly throughout shirt. Use round shapes and Dots stencil to create circles in Antique Gold randomly throughout shirt.
    7. Remove masking and paint in images. Paint leaves in Avocado Green, and flowers in Christmas Primary Red and Antique Gold. Paint bee in Antique Gold and Lamp Black. Paint wings in Glimmer Glitter.
