Modern "God Bless America" Box

Celebrate patriotism this 4th of July with a stenciled box as a decor accent or storage for holiday decorations.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- scissors
- 2" flat brush
- 3/8" stencil brush
- 1" painter's tape
- papier mâché box
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
Wash the stencil brush between paint color applications. Make sure to dry well with a paper towel or soft cloth.
- Make sure the box surface is clean and dust-free.
- Use a 2" flat brush and Yesteryear to paint the lid. Rinse brush. Use the same brush and Treasure to paint the bottom of the box.
- Use scissors to cut out the star section of the Americana Decor American Tribute Stencil on the provided lines and flip backwards. (Refer to photo.)
- Load the 3/8" stencil brush with Treasure. Pounce in the star section. (See photo.)
- Use the same stencil brush and Rouge to stencil the stripes on the flag.
- Use the same stencil brush and Everlasting to paint all the stars.
- Use the same brush and Carbon to fill in all the words and numbers. Rinse brush. Remove and wash the stencil.
- Once the box and lid are fully dry, use the 2" flat brush and Ultra-Matte Varnish to seal.
