- Position the desired stencil on the surface. (Shown: DecoArt Personally Yours Urban Ink -Shadow Stencil on a coffee mug.) Tape, if needed, to keep in place. Use a cosmetic sponge to apply Pewter (or a color of your choice).
- Use painter's tape to create a small 1/4" stripe underneath the monogram. Use a cosmetic sponge to apply Pewter.
- Create another 1" stripe underneath the smaller stripe. Use a cosmetic sponge to apply Pewter.
- Set aside to dry completely.
- Prepare the fabric surface by washing and ironing the napkin, if necessary. Be sure to place cardboard or plastic underneath or between surfaces to prevent bleeding.
- Position the desired stencil; use tape if needed. Use a cosmetic sponge to apply Cotton Ball.
- Use painter's tape to create a 1" stripe above the monogram. Let dry completely. Apply another strip of tape to create a 1/2" stripe above the thicker stripe.
