- burlap
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- sheet of clear vinyl
- measuring tape
- 12" x 12" pillow form
- 18" x 18" pillow form
- 14" x 14" pillow form
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the pillow on the burlap (still folded in the middle) and cut so there is about 2-3" still remaining on the right and left sides of the pillow. (No need to cut the bottom or top of the burlap.)
- Place the pillow in between the burlap to measure where the fold will be.
- Remove the pillow form while holding firmly to one side to keep the burlap positioned correctly.
- Tuck the right and left sides of the pillow (the same side that you cut) in about 1-2" and press down to crease the burlap.
- Insert the warmed glue gun into the tuck and apply an ample amount of glue to seal the tuck closed. Press down gently for a firm seal.
- Trace and transfer the patterns to vinyl sheets and cut out. Apply the vinyl stencils to the pillows.
- Paint each pillow using the suggested colors: Navy Blue: wreath and "Fall"; Spicy Mustard: large leaf, "e" in hello, and "& everything nice"; Burnt Orange: large pumpkin, "l" and "o" in hello, "pumpkin", and small leaf; and Country Red:"h" and "l" in hello, "spice", and large leaf.
- Remove the vinyl stencils and let the paint dry completely.
- Carefully insert the pillow forms and display.
