SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • rubbing alcohol
    • 3/4" flat brush
    • clean cloth
    • 8" square vase
    • rectangular vase

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Allow to dry between painting steps.

    1. Be sure the vases are clean and dry. Clean with rubbing alcohol to remove labels, etc., and dry thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.
    2. Use a 3/4" flat brush to apply a square of Bright Orange in the upper right corner of the vase front.
    3. Continuing with Bright Orange, work in a diagonal pattern. Paint a square below and to the left of the first. Continue this pattern all over the vase.
    4. Using a 3/4" flat brush and Bright Yellow, paint the square next to a Bright Orange square. Continue adding squares, keeping in mind that you will have a third color to add.
    5. Mix together equal amounts of Bright Yellow and Bright Orange. Use this mix to finish the patchwork, filling in all the empty squares.
    6. Follow the directions on the Gloss Enamel bottles for curing the paint.
