Painted Floral Wooden Crates

Ring in spring with these pretty and functional crates with Americana® Acrylics painted flowers.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- paper towels
- transfer paper
- #3 round brush
- 1" angular shader brush
- pencil
- wooden nesting crates
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Allow paint to fully dry in between steps.
- Paint the wooden crates with a coat of Driftwood. Let dry.
- Once the crates are dry, download and print out the floral pattern. Layer the pattern on top of a piece of carbon or transfer paper onto the crate and trace the pattern with a pencil to transfer the design.
- Mix both Coral Blush and Black Plum 50/50 with Warm White to get lighter tones. Use a #3 round brush to paint in the designs. (See photo for color placement.)
- Once the shape is dry, use a 1" angular brush to add details to the flowers using Black Plum and Coral Blush. Let dry and use 1" angular brush and Hauser Light Green for the leaves.
- Use a 1" angular brush to apply Champagne Starburst on the corners to add a hint of glamour.
