Painted Jeans | Pattern Pocket

Use this easy stencll and the best paint for fabric, SoSoft™ Fabric Paint, to create your own painted jeans.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • painter's tape
    • #12 flat brush
    • cosmetic sponge
    • jeans

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Rip the painter's tape and place right up to the pockets leaving no space. (Make sure to push the tape down firmly.)
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Use the #12 flat brush to mix (4) parts Baby Pink Deep, (3) parts White, (2) parts Cadmium Orange, and (1) part Dark Rose. Use the mix to paint the two pockets completely. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.

    5. Place the Americana Stencil of your choice over the pockets. (I used the Americana Aztec Pattern Stencil.) Hold the stencil still with fingers or use painter's tape to hold in place. Load a cosmetic sponge with White and pounce the entire or parts of the pocket.. Remove the stencil and repeat on other pocket if desired. Wash stencil.
    6. Instruction #3
