Painted Old Italian Style Breadbasket

Give a rustic touch to freshly baked bread in this painted metal breadbasket.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- scissors
- pencil
- #3 round brush
- 3/4" flat brush
- hand drill
- computer and printer
- metal wire basket
- scrap piece of wood
- twine, jute, or string of choice
INSTRUCTIONS
- Use a hand drill to drill holes at the top of the scrap wood.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush and Black Tie to basecoat the piece of scrap wood. Let dry completely.
- From the computer, print off the "Rotoli" pattern, sized to fit the scrap wood.
- Use a pencil to trace and transfer the word onto the wood.
- Use a #3 round brush with Muted Gold to fill in "Rotoli". Let dry completely.
- Use scissors to cut the string or jute and use to attach the wooden nameplate to the breadbasket.
