This mini garden swing, painted with DecoArt ® Extreme Sheen™, makes the perfect plant holder for your porch.

SUPPLIES

• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• sandpaper
• 1/2" flat brush
• 1" painter's tape
• wooden bench

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove the rope from the bench for easier sanding and painting. Lightly sand the wooden surfaces. Wipe off any excess dust.

2. Paint the bench using the listed Extreme Sheen colors. (See the final photo to see my color placement.) Let each coat dry before applying the next coat. Alternate colors as you wish. Paint the grate at the bottom in Sterling Silver.

3. Optional: Apply painter's tape to create crisp lines between colors; or just free-hand it carefully. Two or three coats will give it solid coverage and a bright sheen. Let dry completely.

4. After the bench is dry, re-attach the ropes; add some potted plants, and enjoy this summer vibes plant bench.
