SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • sandpaper
    • 1" flat brush
    • 1/2" flat brush
    • 1" painter's tape
    • cosmetic sponge
    • wooden tray

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Paint the face of the tray with the 1" flat brush and Coastal Waters.
    2. Using the 1/2" flat brush, paint the inner edge with Champagne (Metallic).
    3. Dip the 1/2" flat brush into Chocolate (Metallic) and brush off most of the paint onto palette or plastic plate. Dry-brush over the Champagne (Metallic) area to create an aged look.
    4. Paint the rest of the tray using the 1" flat brush and Black Tie.
    5. Hold the Aztec stencil in place with painter's tape and fill in stencil with White Birch using the cosmetic sponge. Using Black Tie and a cosmetic sponge, stencil dots around the design using the polka dot stencil.
    6. Sand the top edges of the tray for a distressed look.
