Patriotic Tea Towel with Stars

Show your patriotism with this modern, starry tea towel, made with SoSoft® Fabric Paint.
SUPPLIES
- cardboard
- small round brush
- tea towel
- tracing & transfer paper
- medium round brush
- fabric pencil
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Transfer the provided pattern to the tea towel. Use a small round brush to paint one of the stars in Santa Red.
- Use a small round brush to paint two stars in Primary Blue and two stars in Bright Yellow. Let dry.
- Mix all three colors (Primary Blue, Santa Red, and Bright Yellow) with about 1/3 water. Use a medium round brush to apply the watered paint in the corresponding colors, creating a watercolor effect. Be sure to let the paint bleed outside the lines. (See photo.)
- Make pastel green and pastel blue by adding White to Primary Blue and Apple Green in a ratio of 3 parts Primary Blue or Apple Green to 1 part White. Mix well. Add about 1/3 water and dab a small round paintbrush randomly throughout the tea towel.
