DIY Patriotic Vase with Stare Bouquet using Glass Paints and Americana Acrylics
SUPPLIES
- clear glass vase
- all-purpose glue
- cardstock
- -styrofoam or floral foam
- wood skewers
INSTRUCTIONS
- Wipe surface of glass vase with rubbing alcohol to remove oil and dirt.
- Paint Navy Glass paint around top of vase as well as a ring around the middle of vase. Allow to dry. Apply second coat for complete overage. Allow to dry.
- Paint remaining surface with Red Glass paint. Allow to dry. Paint a second coat of paint for complete coverage. Allow to dry. Place floral foam or Styrofoam into the bottom of vase.
- Paint a stiff paper like cardstock or watercolor paper with Light Buttermilk Americana Acrylic. Allow to dry completely.
- Cut out stars and glue to wooden skewers. Allow to dry. Stick star/sticks into foam. Arrange with some stars taller than others.
