Personalized Doggie Treat Jar

Fetch a lidded jar, apply Americana DecouPage Glue, and turn it into personalized storage for Rover's treats.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- scissors
- 3/4" flat brush
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- assorted buttons
- assorted scrapbook paper
- dog bone treat
INSTRUCTIONS
- Clean jar with alcohol. Dry well with paper towel.
- Use brush to apply two coats of DecouPage on dog bone treat. Set aside to dry.
- Use scissors to cut out rectangle shape from scrapbook paper to fit jar front. Cut a smaller tag shape from a contrasting scrapbook paper.
- Use permanent marker to personalize tag shape.
- Use brush to apply a coat of DecouPage on an area of jar front a little larger than rectangle. While wet, position rectangle on jar and press from center to edges. Apply an additional coat of DecouPage over rectangle.
- Repeat above step to apply label on rectangle.
- When dry, position and adhere buttons on label corners with hot glue and dog bone treat on lid.
