Be prepared in style for your next crafting project with a personalized apron using SoSoft® Fabric Paint.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• pencil
• 1/2" flat brush
• 1/4" flat brush
• apron
• spray bottle

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Add two to three squirts of each paint into its own spray bottle; add one ounce of water and shake to mix. Use True Blue, Indian Turquoise, Hauser Light Green, and Dark Rose to spritz on to create a colored background on the apron front.

2. Paint a large circular shape using a 1/2" flat brush and Dark Rose. Use a 1/4" flat brush and Hauser Light Green to add a bottom to the flower. Create a vertical stem, as long as you desire. Create two swirls coming from the stem.

3. Create petals by painting on lines using Lamp Black and a 1/4" flat brush. Use the same brush and color to make the center of the flower. Add highlights to the petals using Hauser Light Green. Dip the handle end of the brush in Hauser Light Green and dab in the center to create dots.

4. Free-hand a name or saying of your choice in pencil. Paint over the lettering with a 1/4" flat brush and Lamp Black.
