"Pick Your Poison" Bottle with Dripping Ooze

Label a glass container in lethal fashion with Value Kraft Stencils for some killer Halloween décor
SUPPLIES
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- painter's tape
- #3 round brush
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- clean glass jar
- sponge pouncer
- jute
- wooden beads
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Remove any labels and adhesive residue from the glass container. With a paper towel, wipe the entire glass jug thoroughly with rubbing alcohol.
- With a round pouncer, apply Primer & Sealer to the entire jug.
- With a round pouncer, apply Lamp Black to the entire jug.
- Lightly load the round pouncer with Burnt Umber. Lightly pounce color onto the entire jug for added texture and color.
- With a hot glue gun, apply drips of hot glue around the lip of the jug. (Create drips to of different lengths and thicknesses.) Allow these to cool completely. (They will become a foggy white color.)
- Position the "Pick Your Poison" stencil from the Value Kraft Poison Stencil pack onto the center of the jug. Tape into place using painter's tape. Mix together Snow White with a small amount of Burnt Umber for a slightly antiqued white. Use a pouncer to apply the mix onto the stencil. Allow the paint to dry completely between coats.
- Using a #3 round brush, apply a mix of Festive Green with a small amount of Burnt Umber onto the hot glue drips.
- Paint (6) wooden round beads in Burnt Umber. String the beads onto a piece of jute twine, knotting both ends when completed. Wrap around the neck of the bottle and tie a knot.
