    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Allow to dry between painting steps.

    1. Use a 3/4” flat brush and Turquoise Waters to paint the birdhouse sides and the terra cotta pot outside.
    2. Use painter’s tape to mask off a stripe on the terra cotta pot rim and a band on the birdhouse roof. Use a 3/4" flat brush and Pink Cadillac to paint the open areas. Remove tape.
    3. Load a slightly dampened sea sponge with Blue Lagoon and Lavender Fields. Tap several times on the palette to blend. Lightly tap colors randomly over the birdhouse sides.
    4. Use a #12 flat brush to paint the birdhouse base Turf Green; and the inside pot and roof eaves, Blue Lagoon. Let dry.
    5. When dry, trace and transfer the pattern on the birdhouse and the terra cotta pot.
    6. Birdhouse: Load a #4 round brush with Pink Cadillac and the tip of the brush with Red Barn. Position the brush tip at the outside edge of the petal's side. Press the brush down and pull toward the flower center. Repeat for the second side of the petal.
    7. Repeat Step 6 for all flower petals.
    8. Double-load a #8 flat brush with Turf Green and Chartreuse to paint the leaves.
    9. Use a #4 round brush to dab a Turf Green and Chartreuse mix onto the flower centers.
    10. Use a stylus to dot Canary dots over the Turf Green/Chartreuse centers. Add Cotton Ball dots in random clusters.
    11. Use a liner brush and Red Barn to add small v-shape on petal tips.
    12. Use the same brush and Black Tie to loosely add swirls.
    13. Terra cotta pot: Repeat the instructions for flowers (Steps 6-11).
    14. Use a #4 round brush and Black Tie to add branch.
