Pretty Frosted Floral Square Plate

A plain square glass plate blooms into a floral work of art with Americana® Frost Gloss Enamels™.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- cosmetic sponge
- square clear glass plate
- painter's or cellophane tape
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Wash the plate in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry well before painting. Or clean with rubbing alcohol.
- Position the flower pattern(s) inside plate as desired and secure with painter's or cellophane tape.
- Invert the plate. Use the 3D Gold Writer to outline the pattern lines. Loosely make curved lines connecting flowers and continuing to plate edges. Let dry.
- Use a cosmetic sponge to dab Turquoise inside the flower petals.
- Repeat the application using Gold to fill in remaining areas.
- Let dry/cure for four days. Place inverted plate in a non-preheated oven. Set the temperature at 275 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. Turn off the oven, crack open the door, and allow the plate to cool down before removing.
